PeopleCert Scrum Product Owner II was designed for all professionals who wish to master the Scrum Framework and the role of the Product Owner.

This Certification will introduce you to Agile Project Management, Scrum and Value-Driven Product Management. You will understand the basics of Product Strategy, Vision, and Planning, learn the core skills of successful Product Owners, how to effectively work with Stakeholders and how to build and refine the Product Backlog.

  1. Agile Project Management Fundamentals
    Refresh your memory on what Agile and Scrum are, their key principles and values, how they work and their key success factors. 

     

  2. Value-Driven Product Management
    Visualize and affectively communicate Product Strategy, Product Ideas and Features. Analyze Product Plan or forecast, learn the techniques of modeling and measuring value. Dive deeper into Validating Product Assumptions, from different approaches to hypothesis planning and testing, to testing the effectiveness of a Sprint Review. 

     

  3. The Product Owner Role
    Refresh the core skills and traits of a successful Product Owner. How should a Product Owner think and act to support product success, what are the cognitive biases that may impact the product owner’s capability to effectively deliver business value.
    Dive deeper in Stakeholders Management and learn how to work with the Developers and how the roles scales when working in a Multi-Scrum Team Environment.

     

  4. Product Backlog Management 
    Refresh how to build, order, and refine the Product Backlog. Learn techniques for ordering, organizing, and filtering the product backlog, that link product goals to strategy. Learn to assess Product Backlog “readiness” before starting a new Sprint, three ways to improve Product Backlog refinement and understand the benefits gained when outcomes and impact are maximized while minimizing output.
