Application of Financing Scheme
If you are a new applicant,
- Bumiputera

If you’re a Yayasan Peneraju alumni, you must meet all the “New Applicants” criteria, plus these extra requirements:
- If you’re repaying Yayasan Peneraju, you must have paid more than 50% of your total balance by the time you apply.
- The total funding you get from Yayasan Peneraju (past and current) must not be more than RM150,000. Check peneraju.org to see how much you’ve received.
Yes, you must have an active savings account under your own name (as per your IC) with a Bank Negara-registered bank. Joint accounts are not allowed.
You must apply within 3 months after receiving your offer letter from Skillet (ALTI), and before your training starts. Check peneraju.org for updates. Applications may be rejected if your course starts more than 3 months later.
Yes. Alumni who have completed a previous Peneraju-funded program can apply again.
Yes. You must first apply for training at Skillet and get a valid offer letter or proof of registration. You’ll need this to apply for Peneraju financing.
Go to peneraju.org, register with your name, IC, and email, choose your training, then follow the steps and upload all required documents.
No. You can only apply for courses listed on peneraju.org.

Yes. You’ll get an email within 21 working days. Check your inbox and spam folder. It might take longer during busy periods, so apply early.
Check your status at peneraju.org. If there’s no update, email askme@peneraju.org for help. During peak periods, replies may be delayed.

Funding Information
All Bumiputera individuals who want to improve their skills and grow personally or professionally are encouraged to register. By registering, you’ll get access to profiling, career development support, and funding opportunities from Yayasan Peneraju.
Yayasan Peneraju offers many training and certification programs in areas like Accounting, Finance, IT, AI, Business, and Leadership. These programs help you build your skills, grow your career, and connect with a network of alumni. They also provide a Financing Scheme to help you pay for your training. You can visit peneraju.org to explore self-assessments and learn more about yourself.
You can apply for any training or certification listed on peneraju.org, as long as you meet the entry requirements from the professional bodies and training providers (ALTIs). You must pass any required assessments and provide proof of registration. You can only pursue one training or certification at a time.
ALTIs are Yayasan Peneraju’s approved training providers. They are selected to offer recognized courses and certifications. Check the full list of ALTIs and their courses on the Courses page.

No. The scheme is 100% interest-free and has no admin fee
It’s a legal agreement between you and Yayasan Peneraju. It outlines your rights and responsibilities, payment terms, and includes a guarantor if needed.
This is an official letter from Yayasan Peneraju asking you to repay the funds you received. You may get it within 1 month after:
- finishing your training
- leaving the scheme
- early termination It’s a formal reminder of your financial obligations.
Disbursement of Financing Scheme
Claim & Pay: Submit your request on peneraju.org within 30 working days from the date on the invoice from your ALTI. Upload your payment receipt within 10 working days after payment.
Pay & Claim (Reimbursement): Submit your request within 30 working days from the receipt date.
Allowance Claims: Submit your claim every 3 months (quarterly).
If your claim is complete and accurate:
- Payment will be made within 10 working days.
- You’ll be notified by email once it’s approved.
- Money will be transferred directly to your registered bank account.
- Claims submitted after 5:30 PM will be processed the next working day.
Yes. You will receive an email with the reason for rejection. You’ll need to fix the issue and resubmit your claim.
Common reasons for rejection:
- Missing or incomplete documents
- Claim submitted too late
- Items not covered under the scheme
- Incorrect info or overclaimed amount
Completion of Training & Certification
You don’t need to pay back if you sit and pass the examination
You’ll receive a Letter of Demand (LOD) with your repayment schedule. Your first payment is due 3 months after the date of the LOD.
Yes, but only for Platinum package participants who pass all exams on the first attempt (straight pass).
You may request a deferment (delay) in repayment. To do this, you must appeal to Yayasan Peneraju’s Recovery team their contact details will be included in your LOD.
Acceptance
You have 7 working days to respond to the offer.
Yes. The offer is only valid if you sign and return the offer letter. If you don’t sign it, the offer is not valid.
No. The offer is based on what you applied for and the registration from the training provider (ALTI). If you want something different, you must reject the offer and apply again — but approval is not guaranteed.
Yes. You must sign an agreement to officially accept the approved Financing Scheme and start your training.
Only if you’re under the Platinum package. The guarantor must be:
- A Malaysian citizen living in Malaysia
- Aged between 18–60
- Have good financial standing (no bankruptcies)
- A family member or close contact If your guarantor becomes unfit (e.g., passes away, bankrupt), you must notify Yayasan Peneraju and provide a new one.
No. Just sign and return the agreement — no stamping required.
Yes. You can exit through peneraju.org. After that, you will receive a Letter of Demand (LOD) to repay 100% of the amount disbursed.
You can still continue your course on your own.
No. You’ll only receive the amount based on actual invoices and eligible allowances.
Unused funds won’t be disbursed and don’t need to be repaid.
If you break the terms of the agreement, Yayasan Peneraju can cancel your scheme.
They will issue a Letter of Demand and require you to repay 100% of the disbursed amount.
